The provider of the “Path to Words” service is Leo Köpke, Nernstweg 6, 22765 Hamburg, Germany. By submitting the registration you accept these terms of use.

Service: a digital vocabulary trainer with curated content and content you can add yourself.

Beta: the service is in a free beta phase. Features may change, be temporarily unavailable or be discontinued. There is no claim to specific features, permanent availability or freedom from errors, except where required by mandatory law.

Account: use requires an account with accurate details; keep your credentials secret. Use is permitted from the age of 16, otherwise with the consent of a legal guardian.

Your content: you are responsible for words/lists you create and warrant that you do not infringe third-party rights. You grant the provider a simple, non-exclusive right, for the duration of your account, to technically store and process your content and make it available to you within the service; this includes the technically necessary processing by the service providers used.

Permitted use: abusive or automated access, disruption of operations, circumvention of security measures and unlawful content are prohibited.

Rights in the service: the app and learning content are legally protected; use is only permitted within the service.

Liability: the provider is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For simple negligence the provider is liable only for the breach of essential contractual obligations and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected. Otherwise liability is excluded.

Termination: you can delete your account at any time in the settings. The provider may discontinue the service with reasonable notice. In the event of security risks, abuse or serious breaches, an account may also be blocked without prior notice.

Final provisions: German law applies. If a provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective.
